The Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association with the financial support from McMillan Stewart Foundation and MICA Trustee is working on a project that aims at improving the enforcement of rule of law in light of gender equality and non-discrimination. By conducting a high-level panel dialogue, consultative workshop and advocacy workshop by involving different stakeholders including the executive organs of the government as well as non-governmental institutions that have a big role when it comes to the effective enforcement rule of law With the unfailing support from the McMillan Stewart Foundation and MICA Trustee, the project is making great strides in its goals and EWLA was able to contribute towards the enhancement of rule of law as well as gender equality.
During the implementation period, Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association has used different approaches to Advocate, capacitate, and create awareness to promote the rights and protection of women. The approach involves detailed planning and careful implementation, with a focus on collaboration and communication with all stakeholders involved, to ensure that the project is successful in achieving its objectives.
