“Strengthening Human Rights Protection and Sexual and Gender based Violence (SGBV) Prevention & Response in Conflict Affected Areas of Ethiopia.”

Ethiopian Women Lawyers’ Association in partnership with Freedom House is implementing a project entitled “Strengthening Human Rights Protection and Sexual and Gender based Violence (SGBV) Prevention & Response in Conflict Affected Areas of Ethiopia.” The project aims to enhance human rights protection, prevent, and respond SGBV in Ethiopia through a multifaceted approach. Strategies include improving transparency and accountability in conflict affected areas, awareness creation engagements and empowering legal professionals. By advancing gender equality and empowering marginalized groups, the Ethiopian Women Lawyers’ Association (EWLA) aspires to contribute to the broader and urgent need of creating a safer and more equitable environment for all.
